Introduction

Background:
The Majuli Music Festival (MMF), a yearly non-profit music festival, is held on the lovely island of Majuli in Assam, India. It was founded in 2019 by the Majuli Music Festival Foundation, each year in November, it is put on by the Majuli Music Festival Foundation, RIGBO, in collaboration with a variety of governmental and non-governmental organizations. This event aims to support Majuli’s general development, especially by advancing the agricultural and tourism economies of the area. Majuli’s tourism sector provides a variety of options. Tourists have long flocked to Majuli. As more people travel there, the history, culture, and traditions of the region will get more and more recognition. The music festival’s main goal is to achieve the same thing. Last year with more than 30 musicians from all around India in the event. In addition to bands like Avora Records, Tai Folks, Madhouse Mongrels, and Madarjen Shamim, singers like Bishrut Saikia, Dr. Lincoln, Joy Barua, Lucky Ali, Neelotpal Bora, Salman Ilahi, Trishna Gurung, etc. were also included on the list from the previous year.
